I wrote a book!

In the midst of moving multiple times, of divorcing, of starting over, of becoming, I wrote a whole book.

So much of the process of writing and editing is clouded in my brain by the swirling mess that encompassed my life during this process. It’s a literal blur.

But the result, after so much help from my support system, my editor, and the team at Nat Geo, is a beautiful, moving, emotional, historical, coffee table book about Black food in the US.
